Standard for Equipping Medical Device Automation Equipment
The equipment standards for medical device automation mainly include AED automatic external defibrillators, multi parameter monitors, electrocardiographs, and other devices. These devices are included in Class A of the "Operating Room Medical Equipment Configuration Standards", requiring hospitals at all levels to fully equip them. In addition, the central monitoring system has been included in Class B as a necessary equipment for tertiary hospitals to meet their higher medical needs.
Specific equipment and its standard requirements
AED Automatic External Defibrillator: As an efficient and portable emergency equipment, AED adopts biphasic truncated exponential wave technology, fast charging and rhythm analysis, suitable for various age groups and scenarios, and supports remote device management.
Multi parameter monitor: used to monitor the vital signs of patients and ensure real-time monitoring of their health status.
Electrocardiogram machine: used to record the electrical activity of the heart and help diagnose heart diseases.
Central monitoring system: used in tertiary hospitals to meet their higher medical needs.
Implementation time and scope of application
The "Operating Room Medical Equipment Configuration Standards" will be officially implemented on November 1, 2024. This standard is applicable to hospitals at all levels, especially for the functional positioning of operating rooms, surgical and anesthesia needs, and business development needs.
Through these standards, the aim is to eliminate differences in operating room equipment configuration among hospitals, improve the standardization and normalization level of medical services, and actively respond to advances in medical technology and patient needs.
